How do I prepare for professional movers?
To prepare for the arrival of our Dubbo removalists, it's a good idea to clear out, donate or throw away any belongings you don't need anymore, so you can reduce the amount of clutter in your new home.
It's also a good idea to create a detailed moving inventory checklist of everything in your home. Then, when our movers arrive, you can check everything off the list to ensure that everything is being transported to your new property.
We also recommend that you label all of your boxes so that our movers know which rooms to move them to. Labelling your boxes also makes it easier to organise your unpacking process so that you can prioritise unpacking your most essential items.
What can't I put in a storage unit?
Before you move any items into one of our secure storage units in Dubbo, it's essential to make sure all of your items are safe to store. For example, flammable, combustible and toxic items are not permitted, as this can be extremely dangerous and you will be held liable if an accident were to occur. This includes fireworks, gasoline, oil, solvents, kerosene and more.
Perishable items, plants and wet items are also not permitted in our storage units, as they can attract insects and rodents and encourage bacteria and mould growth. Items that are usually used in water (such as surfboards and scuba gear) are permitted, but only if they are thoroughly dried before being stored.

What shouldn't I pack before moving?
While our removalists will transport most items, there are several things that should not be packed away in boxes during the removal process.
Important documents, such as your moving details and tax records, are best kept out of any packing boxes in case you need to refer to them during the moving process. Perishable items, such as food, are also not permitted, as well as flammable or corrosive materials, car batteries, fertiliser, lighter fluid, or any other items that may put our Dubbo removalists team at risk.
